Influencers were paying “someone” to get verified on Instagram through Meta. Being identified as artists. Even some reality stars and some medical professionals. You get this blue icon and all the advertising money vomits on you. 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤑🤑🤑🤑

It’s not Google’s responsibility to determine whether the artists are legitimate, according to company spokesperson Lara Levin.
